Prices (effective January 2009 issue)

The ad rate for most classified categories is $0.33 (USD) per character. A discounted rate of $0.26 (USD) per character applies to Anniversaries, Birthdays, Obituaries, Denominational and Classical Announcements, and Congregational Announcements.

There is a minimum charge of 150 characters for all ads. There are approximately 50 characters per line (including numbers, spaces, and punctuation). Photos for Birthdays, Obituaries, and Anniversaries are an additional $22.00 (US$) per ad per month. Photos are not allowed in other classified categories. Canadian prices will be based on the current rate of exchange and will have GST added.

Submitting your ad

If you are unable to submit your ad online you may continue to email it to classifieds@TheBanner.org or fax it to 616-224-0834. Please provide your credit card number and expiration date (MasterCard, VISA, or Discover (US only)) as well as your name, address, and telephone number. Sorry, but we cannot run ads that are submitted without billing information.

If you would like to email a photo we prefer a .tif or .jpg format. Please note that all photos are electronically cropped to be the same size in each ad. Under normal circumstances your photo will be returned with your invoice; however we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged photos. We recommend that you send duplicates instead of originals.
