Crosspoint Christian Reformed Church in Anchorage, Alaska, welcomed teens from several Michigan churches this summer who came to work on service projects.

The teens and their leaders were part of the “Alaska Challenge,” organized by Eaglecrest Youth Ministry Services in Hudsonville, Mich.

Jeff and Kristen Keen of Gibson CRC in Holland, Mich., took four teens to Alaska in late June. That group worked at Victory Bible Camp, painting the lodge, cutting wood, and hauling shale for a walkway.

In July, 13 young people from VictoryPoint Ministries CRC in Holland operated a vacation Bible school in Sutton, Alaska.

Of his young people, Jeff Keen said, “It was amazing to see their spiritual growth and development in those 10 days.”
