With the theme of God’s faithfulness to all generations (Ps. 100:5), Ireton (Iowa) Christian Reformed Church celebrated its 100th birthday in April and also planned summer festivities.

Former pastors shared the April 6 preaching. April 9 featured a catered banquet and a PowerPoint presentation of days gone by.

Former pastor and retired Dordt College president Rev. J.B. Hulst was on hand April 13 to lead communion and worship. Ireton had been Hulst’s first pastoral charge. A joint worship service included the members of Ireton’s daughter congregations, Hawarden CRC and Calvin CRC, Le Mars, as well as members of Lebanon CRC.
