“How Wide, How Long, How Deep, How High . . .” That was the theme for the synodical hymn festival held at Woodlawn Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Delegates to Synod 2013 and many others gathered on June 9 to sing hymns and contemporary songs from Lift Up Your Hearts, the new hymnal of the Christian Reformed Church and the Reformed Church in America. For many, it was their first look at the new hymnal.
The service was led by Rev. Joyce Borger, Rev. Carol Bechtel, and Rev. Peter Jonker, pastor of Woodlawn CRC.
