Walking Together Project Serves Koreatown in Los Angeles

Each year during the holiday season, Abundant Life Korean Christian Reformed Church, located in Los Angeles’ Koreatown, invites young people with disabilities and those who are addicted to drugs to a dinner.

The church, led by Rev. Dong Kim, works with Mial Mission and Shaing Mission. Volunteers from the churches and from the agencies prepare Korean foods, host a sing-along, and share a biblical message. This year the message was from Luke 15, the parable of the prodigal son.

Kim said that after the service, a young adult came over and expressed thanks for this encouraging message and said that someday he might be a pastor to share blessings with others.
