And yet, in his struggle, he becomes the missing link between the lives of both Cecile (Marie Lelay) and her past, and Marcus (Frankie/George McLaren) and the memory of his brother. At once tragic and uplifting, Hereafter is a beautiful slice-of-life that evokes early Hollywood while considering how important it is to remember the moments that shape us.
