Kin-dness, the recent album from modern-day psalmist Steve Bell, is a collection of lament and praise, comfort and questions, and reflection and prophecy. “Kin-dness,” the title track, emphasizes kin as the root of kindness. The theme of kinship, between us and the world and between each other, pervades each song.
