A young girl sits on her front porch, forlornly viewing her family’s belongings spread out on the lawn for a yard sale. For financial reasons, her parents have had to sell their house; the family is moving to a small apartment.
One familiar item after another—each with its own story—is sold, until only a few things remain. A woman approaches the girl and asks if she is for sale—a joke lost on the child. Crying, the girl runs to her parents. They assure her that they will never sell her and that they will always belong together. The girl realizes that home will only and always be wherever her family is.
