There is no moral to the Muppets, which is what I love about them. Back in theaters after a 12-year absence, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and friends eschew sterile family values in favor of a holy sort of nonsense. The silliness on display in The Muppets (Animal in anger management, for instance) is not only soothing to troubled, weary souls. It also points to the world of which we live in hope, a restored creation where strife is no more. In its place will be praise for the sublime, yes, but surely there will be room for silliness, as well! (Disney)
