The Rock Music, a music ministry of The Rock Church in Utah, rolls out “The Future is Sure,” an EP celebrating the ultimate hope in Jesus.
“Woven throughout the EP are themes of grace, mercy, holiness, repentance, and worship,” leader Steele Croswhite said in a release. “In collaborating with multiple producers and songwriters, our prayer was to release a body of work that is filled with longing and hope, providing expressions of both corporate worship and intimate moments of communion with the Lord.”
The recording offers five original songs and two favorite worship tunes: “Give Me Jesus” and “How Deep the Father’s Love. “Mercy” starts the EP and focuses on a deep hunger for the Lord. The first verse states: “You won’t bear down the back of the broken; You won’t turn away those who have thirst; You won’t bind up with cords of religion; There’s mercy.” “Not Like Me” centers on total devotion to the Lord. Guitar lovers will relish a sweet 1963 jazz master guitar on “You are King.”
With two decades in the industry, thirteen full-length albums and seven EPS, The Rock Music is a faithful bunch with bolstering lyrics and stirring sound. (www.therockmusic.org)
