How many leaves have you seen in your lifetime? Probably billions or trillions, right? But have you ever really looked at a leaf?
God created many different shapes and sizes and colors of leaves. They’re like pieces of art, and they’re all around us! But sometimes when something is so common we forget to appreciate it.
So take some time to look at leaves. Go outside and listen to leaves rustling in the breeze. Pick a leaf and examine it under a magnifying glass or microscope. Feel it—is it smooth, hairy, prickly? Smell it. Now take a trip to your refrigerator. Can you find any leaves in there that are good to eat? Try some!
