Christian artist Zach Williams grabbed a 2018 Grammy award for his debut album, “Chain Breaker,” and now he returns with another potentially big record, “Rescue Story. “For this new album, the title fits because every song has a rescue story,” he said in a release. “When you’re at the end of your rope, that’s when your rescue story begins.” The music has a strong country feel with some southern rock and pop, as the lyrics reflect utter dependence upon the Lord. The title cut is the best offering with the deliverance message and beautiful anthem-like background vocals. Other robust singles include “There was Jesus” that features legendary country artist Dolly Parton and “Heaven Help Me” which talks about crying out to God. Williams claims he is just an ordinary guy with ordinary problems. Couple that with a message focused on God-centered solutions, and one can see why Williams’ music relates well to people.
