For Patrick Mayberry fans, the wait has ended. After three EP releases, the singer, songwriter and worship leader offers his first full-length project titled “Wild Faith.”
“Anyone who has put their faith in Jesus is a son or daughter of the God of the Universe, who intimately knows them and cares about every little detail of their lives,” Mayberry said in a release about the album. “Your biggest plans and wildest dreams for your life? God’s are likely wilder, bigger and crazier. Following God can be scary, but I promise following Him is always going to be deeper and richer and better."
The project’s theme is a balm for those walking in wilderness circles. It features an engaging mix of uptempo tunes and ballads. Highlights include “Lead on Good Shepherd,” the radio hit “Easy to Praise” and the title cut “Wild Faith.” An example of his lyrics: “Wild Faith; It can’t be tamed; It ain’t house broke; It sure ain’t safe; But believe me oh; Believe me; Wild Faith; It’s the better way.”
Mayberry’s prolific talents are on full display and this 10-song record should be in the running for 2023 music awards. (Centricity Music)
