This fall, Korean college students and other young adults gathered in Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor, Mich., for the Faith and Work Forums for Korean college students. They discussed their studies as well as their lives’ direction.
Dr. Joshua Choonho Kim, president of The State University of New York Korea (SUNY Korea) was a guest speaker who challenged and inspired them from his personal experiences.
“It was truly a blessing to cross paths in this very timely forum. I learned a great deal and am so thankful!” one participant student said.
Coordinator Rev. Charles Kim said, “I am expecting a lot from these fine young adult leaders’ passions and learning.”
The Faith and Work Forum included many Korean American students from University of Michigan and other young adults, hosted by Rev. Hun-Suk Bae and the Hope Korean CRC in Ann Arbor. In Grand Rapids, the conference included Calvin College Korean American students hosted by Rev. Moon B. Kim and the Grace Korean CRC.
