Kari Jobe’s third record, Majestic, is aptly named. This work is pure worship in a live setting with 13 songs dedicated to the Lord. Her music is definitely modern, but her focus on God will make it appealing to traditional worship enthusiasts as well. The album deserves more than a quick listen; it is like a worship service minus the sermon. Listeners may want to soak it up before attending a Sunday morning service or during a long vehicle ride. Jobe’s voice, full of beauty and power, is a little taste of heaven. She enlisted some popular Christian singer/songwriters to help her co-write the project, including Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Paul Baloche. (Sparrow)
