Jordan Feliz challenges believers to face worry and fear in the light of God’s Sovereignty in his latest release, Everything Good. “When we know who’s in control, who our provider is, and where the good comes from—that’s when we start seeing anxiety disappear,” Feliz said in a release. “God has already given us the tools. We just have to be proactive in our relationship with Jesus and put what we know into practice. How we counteract anxiety is what this record is really all about.” Feliz’s soulful pop and up-tempo style resonates through most of the 11 tracks, with some ballads thrown in, too. Two radio singles grace the album: “Praise God for That” and “The King is Alive.” The latter states in the chorus, “The praises don't stop, the devil's been dropped; Got some good news coming straight from the top; He saved me from the fire, lifted me higher; Feeling so good, gonna sing it with the choir; The King is alive, alive; I said the King is alive, alive.” “How Sweet the Sound,” provides listeners with Feliz’s tender rendition of the old hymn “Amazing Grace.” This recording offers hope in a sing-along, toe-tapping fashion.
