Toronto’s Institute for Christian Studies (ICS) recently celebrated 40 years of Christian graduate-level education.

Nicholas Wolterstorff received an honorary doctorate at the convocation ceremony. Wolterstorff, professor of philosophical theology at Yale University, saluted the institute for making a significant contribution to Christian thought and action.

Offering master’s degrees and Ph.D.s, ICS prepares professors who go on to teach at Christian and secular universities and colleges, as well as leaders who work in law, ministry, social justice, and other arenas.
