New Christain College Opens in California

Providence Christian College opened its doors this fall in Ontario, Calif., to 21 students, three professors, and 17 adjunct professors.

The college, located 40 miles east of Los Angeles, is on the campus of Salem Christan Homes. James Den Ouden, former superintendent of Valley Christian Schools in Cerritos, Calif., is the college’s first president.

Supporting churches of the college include those from the United Reformed Church, the Christian Reformed Church, the Reformed Church in America, and the Presbyterian Church in America.
