The multimedia ministry of the Christian Reformed Church is getting a new name. The Back to God Hour will now be called Back to God Ministries International.
“Many people know about ‘The Back to God Hour’ radio program,” said Rev. Robert Heerspink, the ministry’s director. “But [they] are surprised to learn that we are much more than that.”
Founded as a single English-language radio program 68 years ago, Back to God Ministries International now uses television, telephone, the Internet, and cell phones to reach people in 190 countries in nine languages. It employs local, indigenous ministry teams to reach people seeking faith and discipleship.
