For Mike and Sophie Nagtegaal, members of Bridge Community Christian Reformed Church in Langley, British Columbia, a 25th wedding anniversary turned into an opportunity to meet the needs of others. Those who received invitations to their celebration also received the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee’s catalog of gifting opportunities.
“Over 25 years, and even just this past year as a family, we have again been made so aware of our own abundance compared to the extreme poverty and suffering of brothers and sisters around the world,” says Sophie. “A second wave of celebration swept over us as we experienced our community’s generosity in the $1,200 raised for CRWRC causes.” To learn more about CRWRC, visit www.crwrc.org.
