Massachusetts Boys Win State Basketball Title

The boys’ varsity basketball team from Whitinsville (Mass.) Christian School won the Division III High School State Basketball title.

According to head coach Jeffrey Bajema, a member of Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church in Whitinsville, the team played a very challenging schedule during the season.

After the game he said, “This is a special group of kids, and from day one this has been their goal.”

Hans Miersma was named an all-state player and Taylor Bajema was named to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Central Mass. Super Team.
