Young adult representatives do not vote at synod, but they provide a young adult perspective on the business before synod by speaking to delegates and on the floor of synod.

“[It’s important] to bring young adults to synod to speak into advisory committees and to speak on the floor,” said John Kloosterman, who was serving in the role for a second year. “That’s the benefit of the CRC inviting us.”
