On December 28, more than 40 Korean CRC pastors, some with their spouses and children, gathered at TtoKamsa Mission Christian Reformed Church in Los Angeles, Calif., to bid farewell to the old year and to welcome the new year. They came from all over southern California to celebrate God’s grace upon their ministries.
Following a dinner banquet, Rev. Charles Kim, the CRC’s Korean ministry coordinator, led games for everyone. The evening included a raffle of gifts such as a 50-inch television, perfumes, and web design services.
Kim thanked all pastors who are retired, young pastors who came from near and far, and even a pastor couple from a nearby English congregation.
The group listened to some colleagues’ difficult testimonies of challenges and joys during 2015. Pastor Hong R. Lee, one of the participants, said “I feel very blessed within this significant fellowship.”
All joined hands as they were encouraged, challenged, and blessed with prayer as they entered 2016.
