Six leaders from Korean congregations in the Christian Reformed Church and Reformed Church in America gathered recently in New York to learned more about Reformed leadership. The Reformed Leadership Initiative equips leaders to serve their churches and communities through peer learning opportunities.
For one-and-a-half years, the pastors and lay leaders committed to learn together how to respond to the challenge of shaping and nurturing believers who live out their faith in a hostile societal environment.
In mid-April they gathered for a session on members’ discipleship led by Rev. Eun B. Kim of Brunswick, N.J., and Rev. Eun J. Joo of Philadelphia.
