This Shreveport, La., musical group is a miracle in itself. DeWitt and Kim Jones were not supposed to have children due to Kim’s bout with toxic shock syndrome. Five children later, they have a family band that could be the gospel equivalent of the 1970s soul group The Jackson 5.

Their latest album, Musical Revival, contains a unique balance of musical flavors. “Hallelujah” is a giddy-up-get-your-praise-on track. “Every Moment” downshifts into a reflective mood, causing one to think about the Lord as the source of everything. It’s worth a listen. (EMI)
