Religion Q&A is, as you might suspect, an online question and answer column about religion. Anyone can submit a question to the “Ridgewood Religion Guy”; he will answer with “a journalistic, non-partisan answer.” The Ridgewood Religion Guy is Richard Ostling, who’s been a religion writer for Time magazine and for the Associated Press. He also happens to be a member of Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church in Ridgewood, N.J. The site is hosted by patheos.com, a site that intends to facilitate global conversation about religion and spirituality. In its first month of existence, the Q&A blog has answered questions about when life begins, where the tradition of Christmas trees originated, why Christians voted for a Mormon, and the purpose of denominations.
