The casual observer might believe Josh Wilson has an enviable life; he’s a successful young Christian songwriter-singer with a loving wife. But Wilson’s third studio album, Carry Me, reveals deep life struggles like the rest of us. The pop sound and lyrics are good, but Wilson’s vulnerability makes the record even more appealing. The title cut is based on the major panic attack he suffered a year ago as well as his continued battle with fear. The fourth song, “Faith Is Not a Feeling,” is a solid declaration of faith that has big-time radio hit potential. You’ll want to keep this 12-track project with you, whether you are in the car, the kitchen, or the gym. (Sparrow)
