The editors and contributors of this anthology shared a college friendship. They also shared the joy of seeing their gifts bring them each recognition as award-winning authors. What they did not expect was to share the sorrow of the loss of yet-to-be-born babies.
For both women the emptiness and sadness gave way to expression in word and images. They call it “the ecology of loss.” The authors embarked on a journey of collecting and editing the stories of others who had great expectations, only to be delivered something missing from the pregnancy manuals.
These are personal stories of anticipation and hopefulness, fear and grief, joy and beauty. Anyone will find something to identify with in these stories. (TouchWood Editions)
