In the 1970s, life was dangerous in Vietnam. Many of its displaced people were sponsored by churches and individuals to have a better life. Recently Thien (now called Tim) wrote a book about the dangerous journey he took to come to Canada. In The Other Side of the Sun, he tells us about his life in Vietnam, his journey overseas, and his arrival in Canada. Tim has settled well in Prince Edward Island and now has his own computer business
