Ministry share pledges from churches continue to be down; ministry budgets adjust.

Meeting in person for the first time in 26 months, the Christian Reformed Church’s Council of Delegates made some more adjustments to governance structure, heard about budgeting plans, and honored out-going delegates.

The U.S. Corporation of the Christian Reformed Church has appointed a chief executive, and the full Council of Delegates of the CRC is recommending a new ecclesiastical corporation: Christian Reformed Church Worldwide.

The CRC’s Council of Delegates considered a new proposal suggesting tweaks to the office of the general secretary. It asked for more details to come in May.

The Christian Reformed Church’s Council of Delegates’ October meeting included planning for upcoming synods, setting policies for in-person meetings, dealing with revenue shortfalls, and more.

The Canada Corporation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America approved a new senior leader for Indigenous Justice and Reconciliation and appointed a new national committee for anti-racism and intercultural conciliation.
