Stillman makes his mark on the Christian music scene with his six-song EP (extended play), “Whisper.” The debut release is about 20 minutes of high-energy, electropop, and dance music. The focus centers on Stillman’s close and growing relationship with Jesus. “After finding Christ, then being discouraged about being back in the music industry now as a Christian artist and searching for my ‘why,’ the songs have really captured my heart during all of that in some truly vulnerable lyrics,” he said in a release. The best song on the project is arguably “Draw Near” with a stand-up-and-notice intensity. The chorus says: “Draw Near, I’ll silence all the darkness and fears, even when the heartache is for real, I have never left you through the years, I’m here, so draw near, Draw near.” This record’s appeal leans toward students from grade school through college and those with an open musical mind.
