Brandon Heath tackles faith-shaping questions with a solid dependence upon the Lord in his latest record, Enough Already. Heath’s songs were birthed in his backyard where he spent quality time due to the pandemic. The Nashville, Tenn., native doesn’t hold back discussing his hidden struggles such as not measuring up. “It’s a real weakness for me, but I also realize there’s a lot of people out there who can relate to that,” Heath said in a release. “So I decided to kind of allow it to have more space in my life and to let it affect my songwriting.” The song, “He is Not Worried,” traces the way a father serves as an example for his family. Part of the lyric states, “And if he’s not worried; Then I’m not worried; I lean on him like a rock; I know that nothing can hurt me.” The album also includes the top-10 radio single, “See Me Through It,” which declares trust in words such as, “God, I know in the trial and pain, fire and rain; You’re gonna see me through it.” This pop record is an excellent reminder that God sees and hears his children and offers guidance.
