Face painting, cotton candy, balloons, and The Back to God Hour?
At the beginning of June, families in Edmonton, Alberta, went on an exciting virtual tour around the world thanks to the Christian Reformed Church’s electronic media ministry.
Back to God Hour ministry leaders came together from the Middle East, Indonesia, Latin America, Japan, China, and Russia to present this special family event.
Edmonton was just one stop on a North American tour that included Grand Rapids, Mich.; Palos Heights, Ill.; Sioux Center, Iowa; and Ripon, Calif.
More than 1,000 people enjoyed the tour and had an opportunity to hear stories of hope and change from around the world as a result of The Back to God Hour ministries.
In addition to meeting CRC supporters and having an opportunity to share about their ministries, the Back to God Hour leaders found it to be a good team-building experience. “There is a real sense of unity, which is good to see,” said Corrie Mulder, the ministry’s director of church relations.
