With parachutes and radios in hand, a group of young people from Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Lacombe, Alberta, became missionaries for a night.
As a service project they assembled 115 parachutes attached to fixed-frequency, solar-powered radios set to a local Christian radio station.
The radios and parachutes were given to Galcom International. The Galcom representative said that at least 10 people per radio will hear the gospel once the radios are dropped into remote areas around the world.
