The largest group of cyclists

Synod 2008 was treated to a preview of the largest group of cyclists ever to cross North America, as dozens of jersey-wearing cyclists introduced themselves. More than 200 cyclists, ages 18 to 80, will travel from Seattle, Wash., to Jersey City, N.J., this summer on the Sea to Sea 2008 tour. The goal of the tour is to increase awareness of and action on poverty and to raise $1.5 million toward ending it. See www.seatosea.org.
