Just six years into its football program, Holland (Mich.) Christian High School claimed the football state championship in late November. The school started its own program after briefly joining a small public school’s team in the area.
Coach Willie Snead III said the team’s focus for the season was on honoring God. “It wasn’t about football, but about showing how powerful God is,” he said.
Snead said his players impressed him with their “dedication, focus, and discipline” and added, “they had fun too.”
