A recent workshop at All Nations Christian Reformed Church in Lake Terrace View, Calif., challenged Christian workers to make their workplaces a mission field.
Jinso Ryu, the church’s senior pastor, said, “Jobs for Christians are not chances. It is a holy calling of God as well as a mission on earth. It is a needed area to share the extension of his kingdom.”
The purpose of the Business Mission Academy program is to help Christians understand that the mission field is the place they are today, not another country they might go to after retirement.
The church hopes that through this workshop, more Christians and churches will understand and become involved in the marketplace spirituality that is part of the biblical cultural mandate.
