For three evenings in August, His Way Life, the multiethnic English language ministry of Los Angeles (Calif.) Global Mission Christian Reformed Church, opened its doors to all who were thirsty for more of Jesus in L.A.’s Koreatown.
There was no agenda for the event, called Open Heaven Cry, explained worship leader Stephen Miller. The team gathered to pray for revival, starting with themselves.
“For many months the Father has been stirring our hearts for true revival in the city of Los Angeles and Koreatown,” said pastor Ben Lim. “Where do we start? We are thirsty. Miracles happen. It’s an Open Heaven Cry.”
Pastor Eric Holzapfel was a guest speaker during the event.
Open Heaven Cry is more than an event, said organizers. It is the birth of a new movement of radical lovers of Jesus that will impact Los Angeles and from there other cities in the world.
