In July, Korean-American young adults who primarily speak English attended a seminar on how to reach out for Christ in Koreatown, located in central Los Angeles.
The seminar was hosted by His Way Ministry, a multiethnic ministry community started by Theodore Lim, pastor of Global Mission Christian Reformed Church in Los Angeles, and his son Benjamin. Both have a passion for the younger generations in Koreatown.
“The modern-day pioneer is not one of timidity but of radical boldness,” Benjamin Lim told attendees.
The seminar was designed for equipping a new generation that speaks only English to go further into their calling.
Guest speaker for the event was Edward Lim, a pastor and director of Gateway Sports Network.
Several young adults dedicated their lives to the Lord throughout this seminar and committed to continue meeting on Friday nights.
“We must take action!” Benjamin Lim exhorted them. “Go bold.”
